Rawa v. Monsanto

Case # 17-cv-01252
Case Name Rawa v. Monsanto
Jurisdiction US District Court for E.D. MO
Summary

Defendant retails "Roundup"-branded herbicides.  Among these products are concentrated versions, designed to be diluted with water prior to application.  Labeling on these products indicates the expected amount of useable herbicide a consumer can make with the product they purchase.  However, plaintiffs allege that in reality, the amount of useable herbicide is approximately half of what was advertised on the packaging.  As a result of this false labeling, consumers purchased a product expecting significantly more value than what the container actually provided.
