Larsen et al v. Trader Joe's Company

Case # 11-cv-05188
Case Name Larsen et al v. Trader Joe's Company
Jurisdiction US District Court for N.D. CA
Summary

Plaintiffs allege that Trader Joe's retailed numerous products that it labelled as "All Natural" and/or "100% Natural," despite knowing that they contained one or more synthetic ingredients (see Second Amended Complaint for a list of ingredients). While Trader Joe's disclosed the existence of these ingredients on their packaging, they did not disclose that they were synthetic in nature. Plaintiffs allege that they were improperly mislead about the contents of the products they purchased, reasonably believing them to contain no synthetic substances.
