Defendant, Quorn Foods, markets and sells meat substitutes, whose primary ingredient is "mycoprotein."  Quorn represents this substance as being substantially similar to mushrooms and other edible fungi.  However, mycoprotein is actually fermented soil mold, reinforced with vitamins and minerals.  As a result of these representations, consumers were lead to believe they were purchasing a mushroom-based product, not a mold-based one.
