Summary

Defendants offer a "Street View" service, wherein company-operated vehicles with custom camera rigs record images of public roadways, which are available online.  Plaintiffs allege that these vehicles were not just capturing images but rather were also recording data from private wireless networks along the way.  This collection was intentional and was in violation of the federal Wiretap Act, as well as state statutes.
